Please note: there is a non-refundable design deposit of $80 required to commence the custom work process.

Once the design has been agreed upon, often 2-4 weeks. Lead times vary greatly depending on workload, the size of the job and the season.

Corten Rusty Steel, also known as Weathering Steel, is specially designed to develop a protective rusty coating over time.
Unlike Mild Steel, which continues to rust and deteriorate, Corten’s self-protective layer prevents it from rusting away, ensuring its longevity and durability in various environments.

Each piece will develop its own unique colour and this will change over time depending on its location.

Gift wrapping is available on request. If you are sending the item to someone else as a gift, we are more than happy to include a handwritten gift message with your order. Please fill out your gift message in the notes area in the shopping cart and we will include it with your order.

Use hot soapy water and rinse off. For stubborn marks use a clean green “Scotch Brite” abrasive pad (that you can use on non-stick pots) rub the steel “with the grain” in a straight backward and forward movement evenly over the whole panel. If you have any concerns, please contact us first.

Yes, it does need washing about once a year to take off any dust and lichen that may have tried to make its home there.
